1916-1917
The Dawn was published in Abeokuta, Nigeria, by Egba Printing, four times per year. The first issue was distributed in April 1916. The publication, with content in both English and Yoruba, was usually between 13 to 16 pages in length and included editorials, articles, news and information about the Abeokuta Baptist Conference, and a young people’s column. Issues in this presentation were scanned from microfilm produced by the Historical Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention in 1970.
